Economic start-up projects among the young nowadays make us believe in a prosperous future for the nation. What do you think of that matter?

It is said that we can believe in an affluent future of the nation thanks to youngters’ nowadays economic start-up projects. In my opinion, I partly agree with this idea.

On one hand, the fact that youngsters set up their own economic start-up projects shows some merits. Firstly, in terms of economic development, they are making a great contribution. The young can come up with innovative and dynamic ideas, and with determination and enthusiasm, they produce some of the best services and products, challenging even existing leading firms. This will result in the country’s economic environment becoming more active and competitive than ever. Secondly, they can become a role model for other youngsters to follow. Their influence will change others’ mindset by instilling into them a sense of motivation to step out of the comfort zone and contribute themselves to the nation’s prosperity.

On the other hand, we cannot ignore the drawbacks of economic startups. First, the working environment of these companies can be extremely unhealthy. In order to compete with established ones, the working life of both employers and employees of these newly-found companies is very hectic, which can then lead to stress and psychological problems. A country could never thrive if its young people are ill and frail. Furthermore, the founders are not always capable. When encountered with difficulties, these leaders could hardly manage the situation, which can then lead to failure of the team. The staff may have to work very hard but still do not get any salary or useful experience.

In conclusion, while economic startups by the youth nowadays can promise us a prosperous future of the country, it still depends on many factors.
