"eco-friendly"

Hi there,

I came across a laundromat the other day with a signage that said "We clean your clothes eco-friendly." It doesn't seem to be grammatically correct to me. Any comments please? Thanks!

You're right, but signs and advertisements are allowed a bit of poetic license. I suppose you could call "eco-friendly" a nonce adverb.

It is perfectly correct. "Friendly" is also an adverb.
