Easy Q

0Is English a Phonetic Language or not? I thought its not until a tutor told the whole class it was indeed a phonetic language. Who is correct? 050010id7

0I did a quick search on the web, and it seems that a phonetic language is one whose written symbols have a close relationship with the way those symbols are pronounced.
