Are both of these correct?

Did you see how they scored an easy basket.
Did you see how easily the scored a basket.

I'm sure it was a typo, but

The meanings are not necessarily the same.
The first says it was "an easy basket." Even I, with my terribly skills in basketball, probably could have made such an easy basket.
