earthfall

Hi friends
what is the meaning of this sentence:

we still misleadingly talk about “sunrise”, when presumably we should talk about “earthfall”.

Specially, I mean the word "earthfall" in that sentence.

thanks

"earthfall" is a word the writer has invented. He says it should mean "sunrise". I doubt that anyone else is going to use this word.

The author is just trying to say in a clever way that the sun doesn't move; the earth moves. That's what creates "sunrise".
