Earth or earth

Hi,

In '...Galileo proved to the world that the Earth and all other stars move around the sun',does 'Earth' have to be in capital letters?And what about the 'sun'?

Unfortunately, there is no absolute rule on this, but generally we capitalize when we are speaking 'scientifically' about these heavenly bodies, since like the planets (Saturn, etc), Earth and the Sun are their names—and the Moon, as well. )
