Early satiety

Hi,

If I ask: Do you have early satiety ?, is it medical jargon?

Thank you in advance.

Hi I think 'jargon' is not the right word there. It is medical terminology, used to describe a specific condition Jargon, here, would be when professionals use language in a way that others cannot understand. Early satiety just means that the patient feels satisfied after eating very little food and therefore may become malnourished.

  • So it's not a term that others would find difficult to understand Dave

I had never heard of 'early satiety' until I opened this thread. If somebody had asked me out of the blue "Do you have early satiety" before that, I don't think I would have known what they were talking about.
