early in the morning or early in the morning ?

Please kindly let me know whether these two sentences are the same in meaning :

1/I go to the market early in the morning to buy vegetables

2/I go to the market in the early morning to buy vegetables

Is " early in the morning " here interchangeable with " in the early morning"

By the way , please also correct my translation:

The noise of people shouting and yelling , of dogs'barking and pigs' oinking brought the floating market to life .

Thanks in advance
