Hey, i'm following New girl TV series,
in the last episode, they've been talking about Nick father's funeral,

- Maybe none of us should go to the funeral.
- The early buzz on this thing is that it's gonna be a real drag.

can you explain the "early buzz" and "real drag" for me, in this sentence?
It's about "talking" and somehow "not too interest to go for the funeral" huh?
