[earlier than/before/over] 2 months ago

I have made up the examples below.

(1) I lost my job earlier than two months ago.

(2) I lost my job before two months ago.

(3) I lost my job over two months ago.

I am not sure which phrase in bold is correct. Please help me. Thank you.

You want 3, or 'more than', like this: I lost my job over two months ago. I lost my job more than two months ago. 1) and 2) are grammatical and understandable but not as natural among the different ways of expressing the idea.
