Each for the others

Hi, everybody, I cannot get the sense of the phrase"Each for the others in the following sentence?

Is all this the objective truth at last? Or is it merely an adult imaginative compensation for being no longer allowed to wallop the little pests? Let the Freudians answer, each for the others.
Source: Unpopular Essays, by Bertrand Russell

Can I paraphrase it as: "let one of the Freudians (each) answer for other Freudians( the others)."
