e-mails needed...

Hi:-) I’m studying English Philology at the Jagiellonian University in Cracov, Poland - I'm just about to start writing my M.A. thesis. I'm looking at the language of e-mail in informal contexts: trying to investigate if there are any differences between the way young men and women (aged 18-35 (40)) who come from Great Britain write e-mails. I'm collecting data at the moment, and would really appreciate it if anyone could forward me informal e-mails from friends, which they have received. If you want to delete e-mail addresses, please feel free, but I would also need to know the senders’ sex and education (secondary/degree/higher degree)... The e-mails don't have to strike you as linguistically significant as I'm after a fair sample of data. Anything but junk mail would be really useful. The email account for my data is Email Removed">Email Removed.

Thank you in advance for your help!

That's quite an interesting topic, Paulina. I'm afraid I'm not British, and I do not receive any emails from the British, so I cann't help you out with the data collection. But is there any chance that you can let us know how your work develops?
