E-mail to my boss?

Could you please help me with the following message? I need to schedule a dinner with my boss and a friend of mine, and I would like to ask him if it's convenient for him at 8 pm and if he has some food preference for what to eat or where to eat. As it is a holiday now, I want to apologies for bothering him and to wish him a great holiday.

"I am sorry for bothering you during the holiday, and I hope you are having a great time. I just wanted to confirm if 8pm on Tuesday is convenient for you for the dinner with X. Do you have any food preferences or should I decide where we can have dinner?"

Could you kindly advise me how I can write in a different way this message and formal as well , I want to wish him to have a great day as it will be the last day of the holiday and to ask him about the dinner?

Thank you very much

Is that a convenient time for you? Do you prefer any particular cuisine or restaurant, or should I pick something?
