E-mail or e-mail?

Hello,

I wonder which one is correct, E-mail, e-mail or email?
same question on Web site, Website ,or web site

Is e-mail a proper noun? so I have to use e-mail (always small e)?

Thanks for your answer.

There is not yet a "correct" way for any of these. The most common usages are e-mail or email, and website or web site. I would say that "e" is preferred to "E" and "w" to "W".

I am comfortable with "email".

AbilI am comfortable with "email".

I see no need to hyphenate or capitalize (except at the beginning of a sentence).
