E-mail

As I must send an e-mail to the editor of a journal, I'd like to know your opinion about the following paragraph:

"You should receive the corrected proofs for the article shortly. I also take this opportunity to note that, as I did the corrections in a rush, so as to send them as quickly as possible, I forgot to include a couple of minor corrections, which I hope I can mention now: ..."

That sounds excellent. One thing you could change, is which I hope I can mention now to which I will mention now. Either way works, but "hope" sounds like it might not happen.

One thing you could change, is which I hope I can mention now to which I will mention now. Either way works, but "hope" sounds like it might not happen. "Will" is for sure.
