No. "I was dying from laughter/of laughter." Switch it around. "I was laughing hysterically'. "I was killing myself laughing". Anyone else?

It is, of course, an exaggeration, but I have heard "dying laughing" as much as any other variation, I believe.

I've usually seen the expression as: "It was so funny, I nearly died laughing."

"dying laughing" just sounds weird to me.. wouldnt it be better id you said "im dying of laughter"?
