Do you say, "DVD burner" or "DVD writer"?

Hi Strictly speaking, I think that to 'burn' a DVD means to write information onto it once, but in the knowledge that you won't be able to use it again. You can burn a DVD once, but you cannot record over that If you have the technology to 'write' to a DVD, that may imply that you can reuse the DVD by writing over it again Dave
