Dvd Authoring Software

Hi,

Does anyone out there know of any really good Dvd authoring software. I need it to take an avi file and convert it so that i can burn it on a dvd and play it in a regular dvd player. I also need the software to have FULL menu (inc. background, scenes, buttons etc) customisation.

I need your answers based on the strength of the software, not the price.

Cheers

I use NeroVision. It has more options and buttons than the dashboard of a BMW. html "]NeroVision Express 3[/url] It's free if you've already got Nero installed.

I have not tried the Nerovision, but I have used WinDVD Creator. It seems O.K. and extremely easy to use, but I suspect other progs. may be more fully featured - possibly Nerovision. WinDVD will allow you to do basic editing, overdubbing, scene selection screens with a variety of buttons and motion backgrounds etc.. [url="

cheers guys!

I've tried WinDVD creator, but I wasn't too keen on the authoring options( not enough ).

I'll give Nerovision a try and keep you posted.
