During+present perfect

Is this sentence correct?

It hasn't rained during the last session.

My English teacher says that in this sentence during means since or from ( since last session it hasn't rained)

However, I think as last session is a period of time in the past it doesn't make sense to use during last session+ past participle

Top answer

guava guava 399 It hasn't rained during the last session. "Session" does not make any sense. A session is the period of time a government body or law court meets.
