It was my ten-year-old son's first year on a Little League softball team. His team was not doing too well during a game when one of the boys hit the ball, but not very far.
Q) I found the underlined part is a little weird(or hard to translate) because of 'during' and a 'when' clause come at the same time. Do you think it's the best way to state the sentence like that or there is a better way?
