During the period of ~

Hi

Please confirm if the following sentence is correct in terms of the grammar etc.

'Repaid in multiple payments during the period of 1 May 17 - 1 July 17'

So I want to say that this company/person repaid the debt in multiple payments throughout the period mentioned but I'm going for a point form sentence so it doesn't have to be a full sentence..

Not sure if 'of' should come after period (maybe should be something else like 'from~to' or can I just put dates straight after 'period'?)

How can the debt be paid if the payments are to come in the future? (1 May 17 = May 1, 2017)
