During

Could you tell me which one is okay among (A)~(D) in the following sentences?

1. Some staff members [ (A) doze / (B) are dozing ] in the conference room during the meeting.
2. No staff members [ (C) doze / (D) are dozing ] in the conference room during the meeting.

Also, can I say "No staff member(singular) dozes/is dozing ~" instead of the above sentence 2?

1. The act occurs "during the meeting". If both of (A) and (B) are okay though (A) means general behavior while (B) a particular occasion, please just tell me so. I'd just like to know whether (A) or (B) can match to "during the meeting" in any way.

2. Yes. The utterance situation is based on the premise that the meeting is being conducted when the speaker is saying the original sentence.
