Dump truck and its bed?

Hi,

Greetings!

Would you provide appropriate words for the blanks?

When a dump truck wants to empty its load, it would its bed.
When it finishes emptying the load, it its bed.

Probably "raise" and "lowers."

Of course this assumes that the reader is familiar with dump trucks.

There are other types of trucks which can raise and lower their beds straight up and down. The dump truck tilts its bed.
But what is the opposite of "tilts"? -- "Untilts"?

Anyway, yes, you can say "tip its bed," and no, the usage is not awkward.

I'm not exactly sure how uncommon it might be.
