Dummy "It"

1- It must be hard, feeling so alone. (I think It can be rewritten as: Feeling so alone must be hard.)

2- It is a weird feeling, wearing her jacket. ( Rewritten version: Wearing her jacket is a weird feeling.)

3- It didn't seem crazy at the time, the idea of taking her. (Rewritten version: The idea of taking her didn't seem crazy at the time.)

Are all of these sentences above grammatical and idiomatic? Are "feeling" and "wearing" considered as a gerund in original versions?

Yes, informally (though gerund-participials), and yes. 1-3 are called 'right dislocation' constructions.
