Dummy it

Hi everyone

Are the words 'it' in the following sentences so-called 'dummy it' or 'preparatory it'?

What would it take for it to spread? Would it take a real crisis?

The 'it' means 'deflation' in the context, I suppose.

Thanks

If the it in red refers to something else in the context, then it's neither dummy it nor preparatory it . The blue ones are dummy it 's, as far as I know, but wait for another member to verify. CJ

May I know the meaning of 'dummy it' and 'preparatory it' in the sentence?
