Due to/because of + main clause + main clause

a) Due to/because of the smaller size of the room, the cleaning takes less time, due to/because of the smaller size of the room, the chances of missing a spot is less likely.

Which is better? The first may be more grammatical or clearer...

b) Due to/because of the smaller size of the room, the cleaning takes less time, and the chances of missing a spot is less likely.

Thanks

I believe you suppose to pick either “Due to” or “because of” in a) or b). If you pick “due to”, b) would read “ Due to the smaller size of the room , the cleaning takes less time and the chances of missing a spot is less likely. ”
