'Due to' vs. 'Because of'

Lots of shows start with the disclaimer "Due to the graphic nature of this footage, viewer discretion is advised."

To be technically, grammatically correct, shouldn't it be:

"Because of the graphic nature of this footage, viewer discretion is advised."
