Due to some reason, I woke up on the grumpy side today.

Hi

Is this sentence natural, especially the yellow part?

Due to some reason, I woke up on the grumpy side today.

Thanks,

Tom

" In full it would be "grumpy side of the bed ", but I guess it's obvious enough what you mean.

It should be "For some reason..."

In full it would be "grumpy side of the bed", but I guess it's obvious enough what you mean.

To me, it isn't necessarily "the grumpy side of the bed" (which is not itself a fixed expression, but is an extension of "the wrong side of the bed.") I thought it was just a way of saying "I woke up a lttle bit grumpy."

I do agree it should be "for some reason."

I see what you mean. Perhaps Mr Tom can clarify the intention here?
