Ducked into/through the door

I ducked into/through the nearest door.

Is there any difference?

Also, I see that using "room" instead of "door" is more natural, but is "door" okay as well?

You go through a door, so you need 'through' with 'door'.
You go into a room, so you need 'into' with 'room'.
