When writing a letter with two signatures, whose signature should be listed first if one is a supervisor of the other?

I have no idea, but absent a style manual that provides advice on it, the method that seems most logical to me is to consider the last position the position of honor, so I would put the signatures in increasing order of importance or authority within the organization, with the president of the company last. In this way, each signature seems to give approval to those that precede it. CJ
