Dry place

Please store this medicine in a dry place.

I wonder what "dry"means here? Does it mean simply means "not wet" place or something else?

No, there is no connection to temperature. Refrigerators are somewhat humid.

It has to do with humidity - how much moisture is in the air. I have a closet downstairs that has problems with extra moisture in the air. I have a cabinet upstairs that is nice and dry. Either one could be warm or cold.
