Dry out and dry off

Hi

Is it possible to remember the correct phrase verb in causal spoken English? Do native speakers use correct phrase verbs in everyday English? Or do they mix them up too? For example:

Dry out

Dry off

Dry up

Can you please help me with these?

  1. We came out of the pool and dried ourselves _________________.
  2. My shoes are drying _________________ in the terrace.
  3. The water in the jar was completely dried _________________.
  4. Don't worry about this water. It will dry _________________ within minutes.

Thanks,

Tom
