What about:

a dry leaf and a dried leaves

Is there any difference?

a dry leaf(is singular)

dried leaves(is plural) can you see the difference?

My question has nothing to do with the singularity or plurality of the noun 'leaf', but with the meaning of adjectives 'dry' and 'dried'.

I just learnt that 'dry' simply means free from liquid or moisture, whereas 'dried' is describing something that went through the process of drying.

I hope this helps.
