Drop vs. drop off

A. Could you please drop us at the corner?
B. Could you please drop us off at the corner?

1. Which of the above is correct?
2. If both are possible, which is more common?
3. Is there any difference in meaning between them?
4. Is 'at the corner' natural? Or it should be 'on the corner'?

I use only B and I believe it is much more common. The first can be taken too literally, as if to say that you should deliberately let us fall to the ground, which would be painful!

Possibly. But you never know. It depends on the driver!
