Driven

The pronunciation of the word driven is given as

BrE /'dr?vn/
NAmE /'dr?vn/

Is it correct to say that in both BE and AE /'dra?vn/, like drive, is wrong? If yes, what percentage of people in the UK and US would use this pronunciation, which I think is commonly known as received pronunciation? I'm not sure about whether people can say someone's pronunciation is wrong offhand, because on YouTube I've seen many videos showing the pronunciations of people living in Scotland, London and the South US; they just use whatever kind of pronunciation for eg nerve; but none of these pronunciations by these supposedly native English speakers are included in dictionaries. Then what is right and what is wrong?

Top answer

vn/, like drive, is wrong? I have never heard any native English speaker, from any part of the world, pronounce it that way.
