Vocabulary

drive (car) / meaning

Hello!

Could you help me, please? Can we use the verb "to drive" in reference to the passenger or to the driver only?

1) I drive a car = I'm a driver
2) I drive in a car = Am I a driver or a passenger?

Which verb should we use when we speak about a passenger going by car? Can we use the verb "to drive" or only "to go"? Does the verb "to drive" means always to be at the wheel?

Thank you!
