Dripping vs. laden

Hi,

does the meaning of the verb "dripping with sth." match the meaning of "laden with sth."?

For example:

Thank you in advance!

I wouldn't blink if I saw "dripping" - it's frequently used as a synonym for "laden" or "fraught" because it connotes overflowing.

Yes, both verbs work metaphorically (which is presumably the intention); neither holds up well under careful scrutiny when considered literally.
