Drip off

Hello,

Periodically run the spoon through the jam and let it drip off. When the jam is ready, it will start to thicken, and the drops will come together to pour off the spoon as a solid sheet or a single big gob.

What does drip off mean? It is like drip or flow?

Thanks in advance!
