Drink Buddy?
Hi,
Please see the following sentence as a TOEFL question:
As I arrived at my drink buddy's apartment one night, he and his roommates were lazying around in the living room and watching an Austin Powers video for the billionth time.
I checked the answer and found drink is the wrong answer. Would anyone here tell me why? Thanks!!

I'm not sure what the question was here. Did you have to identify the incorrect word from the underlined options? In that case, I would say that drink buddy should read drinking buddy, but also that lazying should read lazing!

I'm not sure what the question was here. Did you have to identify the incorrect word from the underlined options? In that case, I would say that drink buddy should read drinking buddy, but also that lazying should read lazing!
