Dried fruit vs dry fruit

Hi

Would you say that both sound OK to your native ears?

Dried fruit

Dry fruit

In my country we use the phrase dry fruit and not dried fruit to refer to walnuts, cashew, almonds, etc.

Thanks,

Tom

Examples are prunes (dried plums) and raisins (dried grapes). Other fruits that are commonly dried and packaged for sale are apricots, figs and cranberries.
