Dream suggests

"Few of the artists realize their dreams. They often have to reset their goals. There is still a moment, however, when a profound experience arrives that is more rewarding than any dream could ever suggest."

Does the underlined part mean "they could ever imagine" or "anything they could probably get by realizing their dreams"? I'm wondering if this second "dream(s)" refers to an achievement that is longed for or an imagination.

Thank you.
