Please help me correct the following wording.

1. I enjoy drawing in my free time. Although my work is not as vivid and true to life as an expert's, I still keep practicing to improve my drawing skill.
2. When I was young, I'd never painted on watercolor, so I was curious about painting in watercolors.

I still keep practicing to improve my drawing skills. (There are many skills required to be an adept artist.)
