Drawing in

The tide was drawing in quickly
I saw the above phrase that we need to use in the short story "a Surprise at the Beach".
What does "drawing in" mean here?
Is it a phrasal verb? I couldn't find the meaning.

It means the tide was coming in, ie the water was moving up the beach.

The opposite is the tide was going out.
