Hi, -Huge flows of money drawn from the oil, gas and steel industries settle largely in Moscow. It's basically OK, although it's a little awkward to use the word 'flows' as a noun like this. How about this?

Hey Clive,

Your sentence seems fine to me. It would be rather strange if it didn't ;-) Although I'd like to know whether the verb 'draw' can be used in this context.
Huge amounts/sums of money (that are) drawn from..... What about this?

My question now is: can the verb 'draw' be used to mean 'come from'?

Thank you very much!

Hi again,

can the verb 'draw' be used to mean 'come from'?

Yes, but it has the idea that somebody takes it from . . ., ie somebody draws it from . . .
