Hello,

This test question asks people to choose a synonymous for the underlined word.

The changes in scientific research would be even more drastic.
1) sudden
2) extreme
3) expensive
4) amazing

The given answer is (4), but what's wrong with (2)?

I have consulted many dictionaries. Each states in the entry of drastic with the word extreme...
