Drama Queen

Hi,

What would be the male counterpart of the phrase "Drama queen"? Can't be "Drama King", can it?

Thanks.

I don't think there is a good equivalent. You can have an attention hound, I guess, but seeking attention is not quite the full scope of all the delightful tendancies of a drama queen.

Exactly! So does anybody else have any idea what it could be?

Most of the people that I hear using the term "drama queen" use it for both genders.

You can also say melodramatic. Or a slang term could be "emo" (short for emotional)
