I deeply need your help I'm working on a school project and I don't know how to do it. I need a method. scarlet letter is a famous novel in amercan lit. and my project is to convert it into a drama. I need to set the scene, define the characters and convert the normal writings in to dialogs.... so please help me

Start with the first few passages of dialogue in the novel, and set them out as dramatic dialogue (i.e. cut out "he said", "she said", etc), one after another.
Ignore the passages between.
Once you have a few pages of dialogue, read it over. Wherever you find that one passage of dialogue doesn't follow naturally from another, go back to the novel and read th
