Dragonmancer

Hello ... there is the word "Dragonmancer" and the expression of "how mances the dragon with you" ... I was looking all around and didn´t find any meaning of "mance" that somehow correlates with dragons or fantasy books, as this is the topic, which is this all about.

Thanks so much for your help.

You need to look up the suffix -mancy which is related to magic and divination. Necromancy is magic that some people believe brings a dead person back to this world so that you can talk to them. (Necro- a dead body) pyromancy: divination by fire or flames (Pyro- fire) hydromancy: divination by water (Hydro- water) chiromancy: palm reading (chiro- hand)
