Drab

Hello,

According to dictionaries drab is a dull brown or gray - or khaki.
If I google-image it, what comes up are Army green items such as shirts and caps.
I'm confused, is it brown - or a variation thereof - or is it green?

Thank you for your help.

'Olive-drab' is a separate term, Henry, and that's why you're getting hits on military and greenish articles. Actually, we use 'drab' most commonly as an antonym of 'bright, colorful'.
