Do both downtown and uptown work with the above wording? If yes, do they come across as the same referents to you? Thanks.

AngliholicBut what does "high-end" refer to? I can't find it nowhere in my dictionary. High-end refers to something that is high quality or is expensive/exclusive.

As a minor aside, my dictionary says that downtown refers to the main business and commercial district, while uptown the residential districts of a city. Is it trustworhty?
